PFA Scotland has joined forces with CoppaFeel! to raise awareness of breast cancer among players across the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
Last week, the CoppaFeel! Mobile has visited SWPL clubs across the country, bringing important conversations about breast health directly to players. The interactive sessions created a positive and supportive space where players could learn how to check themselves, understand the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and know what to do if they notice any changes.
The aim of the initiative was to encourage players to feel confident talking about their health and to spread that message throughout their teams, families and communities.
PFA Scotland Player Support Officer, Diane Scott, said:
“This collaboration with CoppaFeel! has been a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness in a setting where players feel comfortable and supported. It is so important that we normalise these discussions and empower players to recognise the signs early. The CoppaFeel! team delivered the sessions in such a positive, engaging way and it has been brilliant to see the response from the squads.”
The activation highlights PFA Scotland’s ongoing commitment to player wellbeing, supporting education and awareness around health issues that matter both on and off the pitch.
