PFA Scotland is in full support of the position taken by the Board of FIFPRO, and the statement made by its President Sergio Marchi.
FIFA must have respectful dialogue with FIFPRO and its member player unions as major stakeholders in the industry. There are many serious issues, including health and safety issues around the match calendar and non payment of players’ salaries, which require to be discussed properly.
The views of the 65,000 players who are members of FIFPRO should not be dismissed in this manner.
