PFA Scotland’s Pre-Season Camp squad will continue its preparations with a fixture against St Mirren at the club’s training ground on Tuesday 14 July.
The match forms part of the camp’s professional training programme, giving members the opportunity to put their hard work into practice against Premiership opposition after three weeks of hard work.
Since launching in June, the inaugural Pre-Season Camp has provided out-of-contract members with a full-time football environment, including daily coaching, strength and conditioning, gym sessions and tailored support to help players stay match ready while searching for their next club. Following a hugely positive response from members, the camp was recently extended to allow players to continue benefiting from the programme.
The fixture offers another valuable opportunity for players to build match fitness, showcase their ability and build sharpness as they prepare for the season ahead.
PFA Scotland would like to thank St Mirren for hosting the fixture and supporting an initiative designed to help professional players remain in the best possible position to secure their next opportunity.
Kick off for the fixture is at 12pm and club officials and scouts interested in attending the game in a professional capacity should contact Craig Beattie on cbeattie@pfascotland.co.uk or 07923220546.
