PFA Scotland’s Careers Day is designed to give our members a clear view of the opportunities available beyond the pitch. Whether they are planning for life after football or looking to develop new skills alongside their playing career, the event provides direct access to career pathways across a wide range of industries.
This year’s event brought together several of our valued Business Partners, alongside major employers and education providers from across Scotland. From vocational training and professional qualifications to university courses, apprenticeships and graduate programmes, attendees were able to explore flexible options that can fit around the demands of professional football and support long term career ambitions.
Supporting members off the pitch is a core part of our role. Careers Day is one of the ways we ensure players have access to trusted organisations and tangible opportunities, both during their playing career and when they decide to move into their next profession.
