PFA Scotland are delighted to be partnered with testicular cancer awareness charity Cahonas Scotland, empowering male players across Scotland to ‘check their baws’.

Cahonas Scotland is Scotland’s leading charity dedicated to raising awareness of testicular cancer and promoting early detection. Their mission is to educate men on the importance of regular self-checks and encourage open conversations about testicular health. By challenging taboos and providing vital information, Cahonas Scotland aims to save lives through awareness and early diagnosis.

The partnership aims to help raise awareness of testicular cancer among professional, grass roots footballers and the wider football community. This collaboration aims to ensure that players, staff, and supporters understand the importance of regular self-checks and seeking medical advice if they notice any changes. Together, we hope to break down barriers, encourage open discussions about testicular cancer, and ultimately save lives.

By delivering engaging workshops to clubs across the SPFL, players are provided with self-help guides and access to a support network; meaning that more individuals are prepared in the event that a friend, dad, brother or anyone else is impacted by testicular cancer.
