As we all well know social media has a strong precedence amongst all age groups now – from young footballers just starting out all the way up to seasoned pros on the verge of retirement (and of course way beyond). While social media has many good points – keep your public image updated, store memories for a lifetime, communicate with friends family and even fans – there are negatives. Abuse, trolls and even players being targeted for explicit images are real issues however we can help you safeguard against these.

Many of the comments made against players may be illegal therefore if you or a teammate are having issues with abuse, trolls or you’re being targeted for explicit images contact our Wellbeing Development Officer David McCracken.
