Those players who had enrolled on the bespoke Tiling course designed by PFA Scotland’s Education Co-ordinator Craig Flannigan, started developing their alternative skills last week.

There has encouraging feedback from both the players and the tutor in charge of the course with the participation of players a further indication of the growing recognition of the need to prepare for life outside a football playing career.

Craig Flannigan commented ” It has been pleasing that the course has started in such a positive manner.  A lot of work is undertaken to ensure that this course, and others, are designed in a way to be accessible to players and fit around their training schedules.  There is growing interest from more players in these type of courses and therefore as an organisation we are continuing to source and develop more opportunities for players.”
