PFA Scotland is delighted to demonstrate it’s continued support for Show Racism the Red Card and it’s current Fortnight of Action by sponsoring the t-shirts worn by players around the country during their pre match warm ups.
The t-shirts which display the Show Racism and Bigotry the Red Card message and feature PFA Scotland’s logo on the sleeve play a crucial role in highlighting the work of the campaign and in emphasising the importance of it’s work.
Bill Butler, the Campaign Manager for Show Racism the Red Card in Scotland said “We have received magnificent support from PFA Scotland in supporting our message of equality and respect. We are confident that the impact of this year’s action taken at football grounds over the Fortnight of Action will be the strongest ever.”
Chief Executive Fraser Wishart added “In the fifteen years that the Show Racism the Red Card Campaign has been in existence, the players union has been a great supporter of the work that is undertaken and we are delighted to see our members take such a proactive stance both in the Fortnight of Action and at regular club events.”
